Authorities with information responsibility

Lantmäteriet has the coordinating role for the national implementation of INSPIRE. The implementation is to be done together with the authorities with an information responsibility.

The Ordinance on spatial information (SFS 2010:1770) states the authorities which have an information responsibility.

The authorities with an information responsibility will make the comprising geodata, services and metadata accessible.

The authorities with an information responsibility are:

  1. the Swedish Board of Fisheries
  2. Försäkringskassan
  3. Lantmäteriet, the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority
  4. Luftfartsverket (LFV)
  5. the County Councils
  6. the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB)
  7. the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency
  8. the Swedish National Heritage Board
  9. the Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU)
  10. the Swedish Maritime Administration
  11. Swedish Forest Agency
  12. the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)
  13. the Swedish Energy Agency 
  14. the Swedish Geotechnical Institute (SGI)
  15. the Swedish Board of Agriculture
  16. Skolverket
  17. the Statistics Sweden (SCB)
  18. Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU)
  19. the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI)
