Geodata Cooperation
Geodata cooperation is the name of the structured coordination that is beeing etsablished between:
- authorities and organisations with an information responsibility, according to INSPIRE,
- municipalities, state authorities and other organisations which executes official duties.
The Geodata cooperation comprises:
- organisation, directions and coordination of the activities,
- sharing of responsibilities,
- technical prerequisites,
- finances,
- deliveries and terms of use.
The Geodata Cooperation is regulated in an agreement.
Parties in the Geodata Cooperation
- Authorities and organisations with an information responsibility according to INSPIRE can be part of the Geodata Cooperation. The parties offer each other their geodata for official use to an annual fee. Available geodata are presented and described in the Product Catalogue.
- Municipalities, statal authorities and other organisations which conduct official duties can also join the Geodata Cooperation, and thereby get access to all geodata in the Product Catalogue.
Meetings with the parties in the Geodata Cooperation
The parties in the Geodata Cooperation can influence the development and administration of the national infrastructure for geodata - by attending the meetings for the parties in the Cooperation. The meetings discusses strategic and for the parties mutual issues. The Cooperation meeting is the decision-making body for the Geodata Cooperation - where decisions on the activities are made.
Forums for corporate development
The parties of the Geodata Cooperation are invited to join forums and workshops which are created to handle corporate development of for example technique, business model and agreements.
