Using the Geodata Portal

You can use the Geodata Portal to:

• discover geographic data sources
• view details for all discovered data sources and access information
• view data and map resources found
• create, up-load and administer metadata for geodata and services produced in your organisation

The Geodata Portal is open to all users, to search and view the content of the Geodata Portal.

Tested web browsers

The Geodata Portal is tested in the following web browsers:

• Firefox 3.6.x
• Internet Explorer 8
• Safari 4.x

The Geodata Portal requires that Java Script is activated in the web browser. If the pop-up block is activated, www.geodata.se must be registered as an exception.
