The Geodata Contribution Agreement
The National Geodata Infrastructure welcomes all actors.
The Contribution Agreement offer all actors - that fulfil basic requirements - the right to publish metadata and make their geodata products available via the Geodata Portal.
Conditions for contribution are:
- that metadata should be described according to the National Metadata Profile,
- that metadata should be of public interest and well adapted to its purpose.
To join as a contributing part is free of charge, this implies the possibility to publish metadata and make the geodata products available via the Geodata Portal.
Contributing parts are recommended to apply the same conditions for usage as the parties in the Geodata Cooperation.
Contributing parts handle pricing on their geodata products, customer contacts, and eventual signing of agreements and deliveries.
Organisations with public duties can be part of both Cooperation and Contribution
Municipalities, government agencies and other organisations which conduct public duties can sign both a Cooperation Agreement - and get hold of the collected supply of geodata from the information responsible authorities - and sign a Contribution Agreement to make their own geodata products available.
